Marin Shakespeare Company presents plays by the bard at Forest Meadows Amphitheatre, on the campus of Dominican College, from July through September. Thursday evenings from early April through September, Fourth Street between Lincoln Avenue and B Street is the five-block long farmers market with a festival-like atmosphere.
Tour the guide dogs for the blind facility and see the process the dogs and their partners follow as they are trained. Also, visit Wildcare, a nature education and wildlife rehabilitation center. An exhibit hall offers California wildlife displays and hands-on exhibits for children.
Mission San Rafael Arcangel is a replica built on the approximate site of the original 1817 mission. Original items on display include the three bells that hung outside the chapel and a painting of the archangel Raphael.
